Command & Conquer - Red Alert 2

Strategies:

Allies - better-known for technology

Soviet - less technology, more power

The soviet first tank after building the war factory is stronger than the allies tank, but it doesn't mean that the soviets are better or stronger. with the allies technology it's possible to attack in more strategies:

Overview:

Allies:

After building the airforce, rocketeers are available for training and when you're creating a lots of them - that may be a good time to attack but not always, depends if the opponent has airforce defence. If the opponent has a good airforce defence, for example: Flak Cannon or Patriot Missle System with the allies technology buildling (battle lab) you can train a spy and go into the opponent Power Plant or Tesla Reactor that will cause blackout for one minute, that way you can attack the base quickly with the rocketeers but if the opponent has the Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) or the Flak Track it will be more difficult and you better have more tanks to destroy them first, after that it will be safer.

After building the Battle Lab you have the option to build the Satellite and that we'll discover the map for you. On that point when you see the opponent base, that means you will know if to attack with airforce or tanks. * Note: sometimes it's rather to avoid building the Battle Lab and Satellite and instead earn more money and build more tanks You'll have less technology but more tanks, you'll be stronger at this point.

Soviets:

The Rhino Tanks are stronger than the allied Grizzly Battle Tank which make it better for the soviet,
If you play with the soviets - more tanks - more power, try to focus on how you can build more tanks and how to take control of the map so you can have more money to build more tanks.
Meanwhile you should have air protection from rocketeers so at least for the beginning you will have to train Flak Troopers after you have more money and stronger army if you see that the opponent is training more airforce you should build the Flak Cannon. the Flak Tracks are fast and really good against the rocketeers and also against the aircrafts

Advanced Allies Strategies:

Mirage Tank

Mirage Tank

The Allied Mirage tank can camouflage themselves, one of the mirage strategies is to hide them on a random location of the map, so the opponent woudln't notice, the Mirage tanks camouflage to trees to it's good to be around trees, for the opponent it will be hard to find them, like in this example:

Red Alert 2 Mirage Tank

as you can see in this example the Red Army has 4 Mirage tanks hiding around the trees, and if you'll notice there is 1 Mirage tank of the Purple Army going right into a trap, surrounded by those 4 Mirage Tanks and the Red take them down immediately.

When you already discover the map, sometimes you don't have a choice but you and you're opponent will have to cross the way and get to each other from the same path, sometimes it's also a little hill, here's a little advice: if you'll collect your Mirage tanks and put them on the hill it will be an advantage for you because the opponent will have to go throw this path while the opponent trying to cross the hill you're tanks that already on the hill will fire first and most of the cases will win.

Red Alert 2 Infantry Fighting Vehicle

Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV)

The Infantry Fighting Vehicle can fire against tanks, building and airforce - that's a good advantage Basically the IFV can shoot all, but it's really not recommended to use it against tanks. use the IFV to protect against airforce like rocketeers, Harriers, Black Eagle, Kirov Airship.
* The IFV can be useful also against: Carrier, V3 Rocket Launcher.

but that's not it, this vehicle has special options, it can carry soldiers or dogs, after a soldier gets inside of this vehicle this will cause its weapon to change for example:

Red Alert 2 Prism Tank

Prism Tank

Prism tanks can destroy the opponent base very quickly, the disadvantage of them - they can be killed also quickly.
If the opponent has Rocketeers you have not that much to do but to kill them first with IFV or your Rocketeers. Let's say it's just a tanks battle, if you have for example 10 Prism Tanks and your opponent has the same as you - you're likely going to lose but if you have something like 20 or 30 and your opponent as the same, you're like going to win because the Prism tanks can fire from distance and when the opponent get closer, the prism tanks fire first and when they do it together it's really efficient.

Red Alert 2 Engineer

Engineer

Conquer the opponent base with Engineer is a rush attack - this strategy should be fast, it won't go easy most of the times, it depends if the opponent has good defence - you won't make it. Doesn't need to be that smart to protect the base from engineers, you can do it easily with Dogs and Pillbox.

But if the opponent couldn't manage that, you should go for it and conquer the Primary base and sell it right away:
the opponent can't build any other buildings

if the opponent set a wall on the primary base or it's too dangerous plan B is to conquer the Ore Refinery and sell it:
the opponent will have to build the Ore Refinery again while the opponent losing time and money your army is getting stronger.

Red Alert 2 Rocketeer

Rocketeers

When you choose to play with the Allies you have a strong Air Force, the harriers and the carrier. But one of a common method is to train a lots of rocketeers and hope that the opponent doesn't have Air Force protection. Think about it, when you start to build your base you build the power plant, ore chrono, barracks, war factory then the Air Force command, you don't have to keep going and build the battle lab, you can save more money and train more rocketeers at this time, that way your army will be ready to attack faster, usually it's better for rush attack.
