How to Play Red Alert 2 Online

Hello to all of the Command & Conquer players and fans!
I've build this webpage for all those who like this game, specially when playing online,
I would like to share for those who don't know how to play Red Alert 2 online.

Command & Conquer - Red Alert 2
The real-time strategy computer game, produced by Westwood Studios and released by EA Games in 2000.

Make sure you have the 1.006 version, if not you can download the upgrade patch from 1.001 to 1.006
Download the easiest multiplayer software for this game - GameRanger

GameRanger:

The multiplayer software look like that:

As you can see it's 2014 and the game is still active

	- Click "Host" to create a new room - You can restrict it with the number of players and password
	- You can sort it by Ping or by any other title
	- Ping: Better Ping means better connection, usually when it's low ping it means big distance between the players
	- Live: This green dot means that the game has been started already
	- Password: The lock icon means that the room is restricted with password

This is the friends list of the multiplayer software:
After you add users to your list you can see if the user is offline/online or currently in a game.

Gameranger Notifications and Options:

When user goes online/offline
When user create a game
When user enter your room
When user leave your room
You can chat with the friends from the list
When one of your friends from the list created a game, the room will show up as blue
When user entered your room and show up as Italic it's likely a bad connection and might not work properly - this issue can be fixed, it might be a Firewall or Ports issue.

After you've created a room, just wait for players and launch the game - That's it!
